Panel of Mediators
The ARIAS Asia Panel of Mediators (“Panel”) comprises members who have demonstrated significant experience and expertise in resolving disputes arising from the insurance and reinsurance sectors.

Application Criteria and Procedure
The ARIAS Asia Panel of Mediators (“Panel”) comprises members who have demonstrated significant experience and expertise in resolving disputes arising from the insurance and reinsurance sector.
Applicants who wish to be considered for inclusion on the Panel must submit the following:
- Application Form (available here, or downloadable as pdf Application Form for Panel of Mediators 20220316);
- Latest curriculum vitae including the applicant’s experience in mediation of insurance and reinsurance disputes;
- Names and contact details of at least two referees who are able to speak fully to the applicant’s professional integrity and experience in mediation of insurance and reinsurance disputes;
- Certificate of mediator accreditation by a recognized mediator accreditation body;
- Proposed terms of appointment including a proposed hourly rate; and
- Any other materials which the applicant wishes to submit to demonstrate his or her experience in mediation of insurance and reinsurance disputes.
Connection with Asia is an advantage.

Applicants shall submit their applications to ARIAS Asia by email to panels@arias-asia.org. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis and will be considered and determined by the ARIAS Asia Executive Committee (“Committee”). Applicants will be notified of the Committee’s decision, once made.
ARIAS Asia has full discretion to admit or reject applications for inclusion on the Panel. ARIAS Asia may also invite individuals with a particular background or qualification to apply for the Panel.
ARIAS Asia’s decision on an application is final.
Membership of the Panel is for a period of three years from the date of admission.
